Volunteer
Our volunteer program is flexible to allow for varied interests and schedules. Some volunteers want to learn about gardening, some want to work at special events; we have friends who volunteer occasionally while others every Thursday or only during the holiday season. Please apply to be a volunteer and we'll contact you when we have a project that will interest you.
Groups interested in volunteering should complete and submit the online Group Visit form.

Tricia Says: "There is such a strong sense
of community at the Natural Bridges farm. I always feel welcomed and
have made many new friends there. Volunteering has been a great way to
learn more about farming and gardening. Spending time on the farm
inspires me to try to grow more of my own things. I would like to spend
more of my time there!
James Says: I've gained a tremendous amount of respect for all the people associated with HGP while at the same time learning
valuable lessons in what organic, sustainable community based
agriculture entails. It gives the homeless of Santa Cruz an opportunity to
acquire life skills that will enable them to re-enter our community as
our friends and neighbors, helping Santa Cruz to become a better place
in which to live."
