MLK Volunteer Work Day on the Farm

working hardMonday, January 17, 10-2 PM

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are you doing for others?'"

Each year, Americans across the country answer that question by coming together on the King Holiday to serve their neighbors and communities. Join the Homeless Garden Project for our Community Compost Day at our Natural Bridges Farm. Tours of the farm will be given and we’ll be focused on maintaining and nurturing our compost. We will also be weeding, clearing out beds for new crops and participating in an overall clean-up of our beloved 3 acre farm.

When: Monday January 17th, 2010 from 10am-2pm, Rain Date: Saturday January 22, 2010 from 10am-2pm

Where: Natural Bridges Farm at the end of Delaware Ave at Shaffer.

Please RSVP to Volunteer Coordinator Kelly @ kellym@homelessgardenproject.org
